History

Established in 1947, Desert Hand Car Wash has proudly served the community for more than 75 years, starting in downtown Palm Springs and now expanding to a second location in Cathedral City. 

The Cathedral City location, operating since 1988, has a unique history, initially starting as a gas station before transitioning into the car wash it is today. 

As the only 100% Hand car wash in the valley, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care for your vehicle.

Whether it's a standard car, SUV, truck, vintage, luxury, or electric vehicle, we treat each one as if it were our own. Some of our valued employees have been with Desert Hand Car Wash for more than 20 years!
